HYBRID and RESISTANT CORNS

Aristogold Bantam——83 days. One of the win-
ners from the All-America Trials, and one
which is built to stand abuse. from the
weather. The handsome, fast growing, rich
yellow corn yields extra long 12 to 14
rowed ears with deeper kernels than any
other Bantam type. Stalks are 8 to 9 feet
tall with dark green leaves and husks. The
ears are uniform and symmetrical, making
exceptional yields even under adverse condi-
tions of drought or heat because of the deep
root system. It is a quality corn, more re-
sistant to ear worm and smut damage, and
will stand earlier planting in cold, wet soil
than any other type. Pkt. 15c: Y Ib. 40c;

48 FAIR WAY’S

FAIRWAY’S HIGH GRADE FERTILIZERS

There are three chemical plant foods that are
necessary to plant growth. Namely they are

ber indicates the portion of nitrogen; the
second number the portion of phosphates; and
the third, the portion of potash.

an cuttings, IViany plants formerly impossipie io
propagate from cuttings may now be rooted with the
aid of Hormodin.
HORMODIN POWDER

Since different plants require different treatments,
Hormodin Powder has been developed in three
strengths, paralleling the range of hormones in

nature.

tions, roses, poinsettias, chrysanthemums, and similar

types.

many evergreens and dormant leafless cuttings.
The treatment is simple. The moistened stems are
dipped into Hormodin POWDER (tap gently to re-
move excess powder), then placed in the usual propa-
gating medium.

HORMODIN “A” LIQUID
The liquid form of Hormodin is applied as a dilute,
water solution. It offers the possibility of treating
cuttings with any desired concentration at a cost of
only a fracton of a cent per cutting.

venient measuring vial are included in each package.
